Is MAX a diagnostic or clinical decision tool?
No. MAX is an evidence and research assistant for professionals and students. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, and it does not make treatment decisions. Clinical decisions remain with qualified professionals.
Which sources does it search?
PubMed and other biomedical and scholarly indexes, plus the live web for guidelines and grey literature. Every DOI is checked and retracted papers are flagged.
How is certainty rated?
Outcomes are rated with the GRADE approach, and every downgrade (risk of bias, inconsistency, indirectness, imprecision, publication bias) is explained so you can review it.
Can I make patient-education material?
Yes. MAX Media and MAX Board turn findings into short videos, visuals and handouts in Arabic, French and English. Material is a draft for qualified professionals to review before it is used with patients.
Should I enter patient data?
MAX is designed for literature and evidence work, not for patient records. Use published evidence and de-identified, aggregate data, and follow your institution's policies.
